本日、auよりIS01のケータイアップデートが実施されています。
ただしroot取得で楽しんでいるユーザーは今回のアップデートは注意をしないと残念なことになるかもしれません。
au携帯電話「IS01」の「ケータイアップデート」についてのお知らせ
ケータイアップデートにて以下の事象が改善されます。
・Eメール (xxx@ezweb.ne.jp) が受信できなくなる場合があります。

ネット上での話をまとめると、今回のアップデートは表向きEメールの改善ですが実はrooted対策のための穴塞ぎが目的らしいです。あくまでも噂ですが。
多くのIS01ユーザーは3Gを使わずWi-Fi運用されているでしょうからEメールの不具合なんて関係ありませんよね。Androidはrootが取れてナンボのもんですから今回のアップデートは華麗にスルーでいきます。
ただし俺はスルーするけど、あなたが穴があるまま使用することで実害が生じても自己責任ですので、そこは肝に銘じて。

TwitterのTLでケータイアップデートしてもrootedできるという話がチラホラと。杞憂に終わるのか？ 俺は信頼できる筋が大丈夫というまで手を出しませんが。念の為にね。
